had some scrap yarn left from projects so made up a bunch of newborn hats.

I found this yarn in my stash and wanted to try it. I think it is some I bought from Ebay several years ago. it is called "Ormo Baby" Don't know if you can tell but it is baby blue with like a royal blue splotches in it. very soft yarn.

Candy Corn Hats

scarves for the homeless

most of you know I generally only work on baby items but this project really touched me and I try and make a few scarves here & there to help the homeless. :-) doesn't take long. the pattern I generally use is just DC. I chain 30 with a g hook and dc in each st across and then sc around the entire scarf. they are usually about 60 inches in length. Pistache & cream newborn blanket

this pic does not do this color justice. the pistache is brighter. A very pretty green, this is made with "I love this yarn" from hobby lobby. this blanket is made with Redheart super saver in Aruba sea and I must say that all the years I have been crocheting this was the roughest yarn I have ever used. I was never so glad to get it finished and I will not be using what is left of the skein!! thank Goodness the vinegar softened it up!!

New Pattern

today I put up a dress pattern on the Gods Tiny Angels pattern site. This dress was made by a former member who passed away. She so loved doing this little dress and did not want to share the pattern while she was here.It was hers. :-) I talked with another one of her friends and we thought it would be a great tribute to her to put the pattern out there now so that others can make these little dresses for the babies. Joannes Baby Dress

I have not made this for a long time but if you look in my 2006 album I did quite a few of them. This was Joannes exclusive pattern. I talked with another close friend of hers and we have decided that in the coming days after we tweak it some we will post the pattern on the Gods Tiny Angels blog. I will let everyone know when it is up. It will be called Joannes baby dress after my dear friend Joanne Holt who made this litte dress all the time for the babies!!
