sweater set & some bargains for next yr

sorry have not updated for awhile. I was busy working on a queen size afghan for my son & his wife. Took me 9 days working 10-12 hours a day with a g hook and the color was coffee by redheart. so glad to be back on the baby items. Here is one of the items made recently and some little snowmen & a puppy I got on clearnace for the little ones next Christmas.

these were the last 2 items I made for the wee ones for Christmas. the onesie will fit about 2lbs. it is so small. :-)

My snowman hats

Thanks to Mary for telling me how to make these. I have more made but waiting on buttons to get here so I can do the eyes. If not for this yr I will have them for next Christmas. The mouth was a little tricky but I think I have finally figured it out!!

this is a newborn little boys set I made and the mint chocolate TLC baby sweater set. the color of the sweater is much prettier than the way it photographed.

Made this Santa sweater set, so easy, thank you Mary for the idea!! also making some mittens out of scrap 3py yarn. they don't take much at all to make. oh, the sweater is made from simply soft red and bernat pipsqueak for the trim.

this is the new TLC Baby yarn I got. it is called stawberry/orange. I love it. the only place I have seen it is the Knitting warehouse online!!!I definitely want to order some more!!

Christmas sweater,hat,mittens

this sweater set is made out of the new Simply Soft light. it is called real red. I would compare this yarn with bernat softee, maybe a tiny bit thinner. it really is nice yarn. So soft and I got the complete set out of one skein!!

Christmas dress

I made this little dress from this pattern http://www.angelfire.com/tx5/angelcrafts/patterns/preemiegown.html I did join it in the back where I thought was appropriate and continued to work the pattern in the round. Also on the bottom I just did my own thing. I did sc evenly except in the V-ST I did 3 sc . there were no directions on how to do the neck so I sewed a small button on the back for closing. :-) the yarn used is red heart shimmer in white

My Last Halloween set & Dolly with her hat

this is the last Haloween set I am doing. Switching to Christmas and Reg newborn blankets. Cold weather is coming and I really need to get cracking on newborn blankets to keep those little babies warm!! Also working on Holiday items for the preemies.So much to do and not enough hours in the day!!!

Newborn blanket

It was easy to do just too time consuming for me as I like to make a newborn blanket in a day and half. this one took me 3 days!! it is sc and dc. the yarn used is the new yarn out by Red heart called "with love" color blue Hawaii. Love the yarn!!! I took a close up pic also so you can see the st. It will be a warm blanket.

I finished this set for a newborn girl. the yarn is pound of love in the off white and red heart comfort yarn is the purple. love the color!! Should have bought 2 skeins but being the first time I ever tried it wasn't sure if I would like it. It came from online at the knitting warehouse
